Description
For years I drank regular coffee the way most people do — strong, black, and far too much of it. Then my gut started telling me to stop. The acidity, the caffeine spikes, the rough mornings, the dairy creamer that no longer agreed with me. I tried decaf. I tried cutting back. Neither worked. Bio Coffee did.
This is the coffee we drink every morning at Morning Dew Homestead. It’s organic, alkalizing, dairy-free, and grain-free, made with just four real ingredients — Colombian Arabica coffee, wheatgrass, prebiotic chicory root fiber, and a plant-based creamer. It’s gentle on the stomach without being weak, and it’s the one coffee that lets me enjoy a warm morning cup the way I used to.
If regular coffee leaves you with acid reflux, jitters, or a hard crash by mid-morning, this is worth a try.

Why Bio Coffee Is Different
Most coffee sits around a pH of 5 on the acid scale. That acidity is a big part of what triggers reflux, stomach discomfort, and the rough feeling many people get from drinking coffee on an empty stomach.
Bio Coffee is low-acid and alkalizing. The wheatgrass adds bicarbonates and alkaline minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium) that help neutralize acid once it reaches your digestive system.
You still get a real cup of coffee. Each sachet contains approximately 80mg of caffeine — roughly the same as a regular cup. See the independent lab analysis.
All four ingredients are organic. The flavor is mild and smooth. No bitterness, no chemical aftertaste.
How it compares to a regular cup of coffee:
| Bio Coffee | Regular Coffee | |
|---|---|---|
| pH in cup | Low-acid | Acidic (~5) |
| Alkalizing effect | Yes (wheatgrass) | No |
| Caffeine | ~60–80mg per sachet | ~95mg per 8oz cup |
| Fiber | 6g per sachet | 0g |
| Dairy | None | Often added |
| Sugar | None | Often added |
| Greens | Wheatgrass included | None |

What’s In It
Just four real ingredients:
- Organic Arabica Coffee — Colombian, prime-washed, the lowest-caffeine bean variety
- Organic Plant-Based Creamer — glucose syrup from tapioca starch + cold-pressed vegetable fat from palm kernel
- Organic Chicory Root Oligosaccharide — a prebiotic fiber that feeds the good bacteria in your gut
- Organic Wheatgrass Powder — the alkalizing workhorse, plus a source of chlorophyll, B-vitamins, iron, zinc, and magnesium. Note: wheatgrass is the young sprouted grass of the wheat plant, not the grain — it’s naturally gluten-free and safe for people avoiding grains.
Prebiotic and Probiotic Support
You’ll see Bio Coffee described as containing both prebiotics and probiotics, and there’s a good story behind that. Here’s how it actually works:
Prebiotics are fibers that feed the beneficial bacteria already living in your gut. Bio Coffee delivers these directly:
- Chicory root inulin — one of the most studied prebiotic fibers in nutrition science. Chicory root has the highest natural concentration of inulin of any plant. It selectively feeds Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus — the same beneficial strains people take probiotic supplements to support.
- Wheatgrass polyphenols and fiber — help diversify and strengthen your gut microbiome.
- Arabica coffee compounds — chlorogenic acids and melanoidins have been shown in research to increase Bifidobacterium populations.
Probiotic support is where it gets interesting. Bio Coffee doesn’t contain live probiotic cultures the way yogurt or kefir does. What it does instead is feed and support the probiotic bacteria already living in your gut — and a well-fed microbiome is a healthier, more active microbiome. Every cup is working alongside the probiotics you already have.
If you’re already taking a probiotic supplement, Bio Coffee complements it. If you’re not, the prebiotic fiber in each cup is doing meaningful work on its own.
How to Prepare
- Empty one sachet into a cup
- Add 6–8 oz of hot water
- Stir until smooth
- Drink as-is. No need for creamer — it’s built in.
